These questions use completed seasons
The current sports collection covers the final 2024 Formula 1 drivers’ standings and the 2023/24 Bundesliga table. These are fixed historical seasons, not live standings. Earlier Daily sets can instead ask about dimensions of selected playing surfaces.
Read the subject and season in each prompt. Formula 1 questions refer to drivers; Bundesliga questions refer to clubs. A value from a different season is not the number being asked for.
F1: position versus points
A final championship position is a place in the standings; points are a separate total. The current bank lists Max Verstappen first with 437 points and Lando Norris second with 374 points for 2024. Either number can be relevant depending on the metric.
For a closest-pick question, find the driver whose relevant recorded number has the smallest absolute difference from the target. For an estimate, enter the requested number for the named driver.
Bundesliga: wins, goals and points
The current club questions can ask for league points, goals scored or wins in the completed 2023/24 season. They are different quantities. A club’s position in the table is not a substitute for its points or wins.
The game states the metric and answer pool on the round. For wins, remember that the scope is the completed league season, rather than all competitions combined. An invalid or unrecognised entry does not lock the answer.
Use the result to build a reference
After each submission, compare your answer with the recorded number and open its source. When the quiz asks for the nearest club or driver, the answer reveal also names the closest option or options in that pool.
The Sources page lists the dataset’s records. Saved older runs retain their original collection and scoring rules, so review the scope rather than assuming every Sports question belongs to the expanded bank.
