How to play Plain Unlimited

A practical first-game guide to targets, guesses, timers and local records.

Choose a topic and a mode

Mixed Quiz combines NBA, Movies and Sports questions. You can also play each topic on its own. A run has seven rounds and a maximum score of 7,000 points.

Daily offers a fixed set for each topic and UTC date, with 30 seconds per question. Unlimited generates another run; choose relaxed for no timer or timed for 30 seconds per round. The timer setting stays with that run.

Understand the two question types

For a closest-pick question, read the target and unit, then choose a name from the available list. Compare the distance from the target, even when none of the choices matches it exactly. There may be more than one equally close answer.

For a number estimate, enter one value in the unit shown on the question. Check the permitted range and whether whole numbers are required. A name the game does not recognise or an invalid number does not lock your answer; in a timed round the clock continues.

Learn from the reveal

After submitting, the game shows the value, your difference and the round score. Use View source & notes to see the source behind the fact, then choose Next Round when you are ready. The next timed round starts at that point.

At the end, the seven round details appear below the game. Copy Result copies a text scorecard. Play Again starts another run in the same scene.

Keep your progress

Progress, scores and settings are stored in the current browser when local storage is available. They do not automatically transfer to another browser or device. Use Your Records to export a backup before clearing site data or changing devices.

A timed question keeps its original deadline if you refresh or open it in another tab. Waiting or reloading does not restart the clock.
